Smart Home Council

Connect with ASHB’s Residential-Sector Industry Council

The Smart Home Council (SHC) (formerly known as the Connected Home Council) explores and supports the development of connected home systems, with their ability to monitor and/or control home attributes. These include energy use, lighting, access control and alarm systems, climate, occupant health, entertainment systems, and appliances — in the single-family home as well as in the context of multi-dwelling units. SHC webinars and selected research topics explore industry-shaping trends and forces and the use of technology to make connected homes more flexible, adaptable and human-centric.
