This study from Deloitte provides insights into the energy marketplace for residential and business perspectives. The report highlights that despite falling energy costs, energy consumption is still a primary focus for the residential market and that 65% of consumers are very concerned about climate change and their carbon footprint, millennials in particular are prepared to pay extra for renewable energy sources. 74 % of business responders indicate that they are requested by their customers to provide more environmentally considerate offerings, with over half attempting to procure electricity from renewable energy sources.
