This paper identifies the primary security concerns that are prevalent in the emerging Internet of Things. It provides an approach for addressing these concerns through an assessment of the security impact on the customer environment; the application of multi-faceted security control measures; and to ensure that the entire system and its lifecycle are considered during the ongoing management.
