The Green Button Alliance (GBA) is a non-profit organization that works to advance the development of Green Button energy data standards, support the delivery of utility-provided standards-based data exchange implementations, and promote interoperable Green Button® solutions that empower energy users to digitally access their own energy usage data, manage energy consumption, and save resources. Following a White House call-to-action to provide utility and energy service provider customers with easy and secure access to their energy-usage information in a standardized format, the Green Button initiative was created.
