This paper from the Delta Lighting Research Centre explores the evaluation of the change of the lighting specification for Siena College’s Rosetti Hall in Loudonville, NY from originally specified conventional florescent lighting to light emitting diodes (LEDs). The project was funded by the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) and aimed to create a comfortable visual environment, provide flexible lighting to promote diverse teaching methods and save on energy consumed.
