This paper was published for the 3rd International High Performance Building Conference at Purdue in July 2014 by the University of Pennsylvania. Retrofitting existing buildings with energy efficient solutions can be guided by an “Integrated Design (ID) Advanced Energy Retrofit (AER) Roadmap” which is presented in this paper. The ID process aids the contracting parties of an AER in identifying their shared priorities and goals.
