This report was completed by KPMG in 2016. It aims to predict the future of the UK real estate industry in the coming 20 years, and suggests some necessary responses that the real estate sector must make to the needs of citizens and companies of the future. Developers are urged to build flexibility into their spaces, as property moves to a service model rather than a space model, tech inside of buildings will be of great importance to the buyer, and there will be a shift in individuals’ desires of property ownership to rentals.
